To my knowledge, David is here in Houston. I believe he works at a recreation vehicle sales place out on I45 north. I have heard that he even lives there and serves as a day/night watchman of sorts. I also heard that he is playing some with a fellow named Allen Buck and doing some freelance gigs. He's a great guy and a great player. Perhaps someone with more and better knowledge will post.

Thanks Bobby.
The first band I ever put together included David. He was just starting out on steel and taking lessons from Denny Mathis. He learned the lick on Ray Prices "TOUCH MY HEART" and man, we just knew were headed for the big time so....I got in my 1958 canary yellow chevy convertable and set out to book us.
Roy Drury owner of the the Castle Hills Inn told me..."son, I will let you guys play here put I cant pay you anything but you can each have three beers each. Sure we took the gig. After all non of us were the drinking age yet!!!!
