Brad Paisleys new CD "Mud on the Tires" is out and it is flat awesome. Big surprise here is that Randal gets all the studio work on this one... and work he does! Absolutely stellar playing through out by our young Canadian friend really makes this a "must have" CD. There are some hot 4/4 shuffles on here that will flat set you on your tail. Great job Randle!

Yeah... Red plays on one novelty type tune which also has little Jimmy Dickens and Whisperin Bill doing a comedy routine. I enjoy Reds playing as well but felt an overall discussion of the CD would be more at home in the music section.

I feel that being allowed to cover all the steel work on a major release is a significant accomplishment and Randall deserves a pat on the back

Your Right Steve; Randell does deserve a HUGE pat on the back.
That KID is kickin' some serious"you know what" on Steel these days and I'm so proud of him and equally proud of Brad. Brad has always put Randell on the top of his list and you will not meet a bigger fan of Steel guitar than Brad P.

It's a great CD..Randall does it well

Now I'll be careful here..I am also a big fan of Redds..
and he really plays some trash on the Spaghetti Western..really kicks with some very hot licks..at the same time ..Brads playing on this particular tune is also way out there..off the scale..he's at 15 on a scale of 1 to 10..

but..a small but..not a big butt.. the real smokin player on this entire CD is ..BRAD...the kid really amazes me..

The first 2 CD's are also in the blistering catagory..with Mike Johnson keeping pace with Brad...Great tone and execution by Mike..

ok..I'm done..I guess you can tell I like these CD's..

My favorite cuts are #5 "That's Love" where Randall shows some pretty neat "pull off" type licks and #13 " Make a Mistake With Me" where he tears it up on C6. Brads tele playing is right up there with the best I've ever heard. They also do a cover of Vern Gosdins "Is it Raining At Your House" and an old gospel standard "Farther Along" which I love.

I've seen a little about Randle on the forum in the past but I bet we hear lots more from this very young steeler.

Without doubt the best young talent out there. Randle is an awesome technician, and his ability belies the fact that he has only been playing for 16 years.

It's great to see Randle's info posted on the web.

But it's really not that difficult to check the spelling of Saskatchewan!!

Or that of the far more intricate and obscure name, "Buddy."
