Are you playing a Halloween party this year? Is the band going to dress up? What are you going as? We're going as The Soggy Bottom Boys. Big floppy straw hats, overalls, brogans and doing You Are My Sunshine and some of the other tunes from the movie. Gotta be fun!

Eric,
Did you play Bootheel Drag?

I won't give away my costume, but I could back in as a parker house roll.

Once new a bass player that wore a spiderman outfit. He didn't realize until he started drinking a few beers that his one-piece costume didn't have a fly.

You'd think a Spiderman costume would come with some sort of a "fly". If not, weave a web and git your own. Winking>

Last Train Home will be playing our home away from home, iota club and cafe', this weekend. We are encouraging club patrons and fans to show up in costume, with as yet undetermined "prizes", but I have not yet got an answer as to whether the band will be expected to participate in that aspect of the festivities.

If so, I refuse to wear any mask that covers the head- too dang hot!

besides, I think my usual visage is scary enough for most folk...

"back in as a Parker House roll" indeed!!! one of my fave limericks of all time...
