Hi fellow twangers. I was practicing up on my home recording skills yesterday and came up with a resonator version of 'Georgia on my Mind'. The other guitar is my 1951 Gibson J50.

That's a handmade Palmwood resonator, made by Michael Palm of Brisbane. He's the best I've ever come across. I played this in standard guitar tuning by the way.

Gatineau, eh? Being an old Montrealer myself, I kind of know it. An old friend used to live outside of Wakefield, on the Gatineau River. He had a real neat log cabin style house. It was originally owned by a rich Ottawa businessman who built if for dirty weekends. No one in his family knew of its existence until after he died.
