Any leads on a good, clean instrument?

You've got my curiosity going, Mike. What did you find?

I purchased the guitar that Randy Reams referred me to in a Cleveland Guitar Center.

It's a '29 National Style 1, apparently clean as a whistle. Very much looking forward to its arrival.

Small world! I was ready to have that guitar sent me for approval last year when I found out that Paul Warnik had a 1931 Style "1.5" available ( that one is now mine.)

As I recall from the photos, your new guitar is in very, very good condition -- hope you like it.

Welcome to the club ...

Thanks, Russ. I don't think I would have purchased it if they hadn't been so receptive of my offer. I think it worked out well enough for both parties. Winking
