Nashville---This just in from the House of God Centennial Celebration last weekend.
Eddie Harmon, brother of Atlanta sacred steel great Dante Harmon, brought about 2,000 believers to their feet with is soulful lap steel work during the Saturday night service.
It was a great opportunity for the 17-year old and he gave it his all. Like his older brother, Eddie got a beautiful tone. He was playing a Fender 8-string lap that he salvaged from one neck of a wrecked Stringmaster.
The Harmons were all over the bandstand during the course of the weekend. Dad and Enrico played bass. Dante gave the steel a rest to play drums and keyboard.
We'll be hearing more from Eddie, I'm sure!
