are the ones that get closed. I probably wouldn't ever read them if they didn't have the little lock by the header. It's a sure-fire way to get them read!

If I have something really important to post, could I make arrangements to have it locked ahead of time?

My favorite topics are:

Jerry Garcia, Robert Randolph,
and Tone. It's great to push people's buttons for those of us sadistic types.

You silly fellers, you forgot "What color steel get's the best tone". We all know it's black! Or, whatever Buddy happens to be playing on a given day.

Sorry b0b, couldn't resist.

D-10 vs. U-12 is a pointless one

Or how about Emmons push-pull guitars vs. everything else (or how I'd rather push my push-pull than pull your all-pull).....or something.

C'mon guys, everybody knows that,if Jerry Garcia were alive today,he still couldn't pick his nose, the Dixie Chicks are a bunch of LOSERS,the color of a steel has NOTHING to do with tone, and an all-pull has got it over a P/P by a thousand miles!

Aw.....C'm on Smiley!!.....I fancy the Dixie Chicks much more than I fancy you!...and I fancy their money even more......and like I told you.....if they along with people like Emmy-Lou and Trio can get my two daughters interested in harmonies and singing Bluegrass type stuff together out in public....and getting one of them who we had given up on to cut her nails and teach herself guitar...and the other to steal my dobro and B**j*.....well I say.."More Power to them!!!!!"
And Black?...does kinda dirty count?
And I have had my shove and drag Emmons for almost 30 years and only one of the strings ever breaks..that skinny one...all the rest are still OK...and it was in tune when I bought it...so why mess with it ?
Well maybe this will earn a lock !!!

I like the yearly "Reece Anderson should be in the hall of fame" 300 message moan.

I personally think that it's great that he's NOT there...because I discovered him and his wonderful music, wonderful instruments and wonderful personality BECAUSE of him not being in the hall of fame.

If he is ever inducted we should remember to keep on complaining as if he hadn't been. That way new people will still be able to get to know him.

Likewise we should never stop knocking Robert Randolph. I discovered him because someone said they didn't like him. I went and listened...and I like him (as well as many other styles of PSG and clasical violin and .. and... and....)

Just keep giving me information. I can decide for myself.

Interesting topic.

A sure way to get a LOCK is to post in the wrong section.

Discussions about the Forum belong in "Feedback and Testing", so I'm moving this.

If you really like LOCKS, click on the Lock at the very bottom of my web page.
