I just got the tape of Lloyd Green and Tommy White today in the mail from Scottys, and I am very impressed with the overall quality. My wife and I were just astounded at the wonderful sounds coming out of the speakers. If you want to see and hear classic and contemporary E9 styles demonstrated side by side, with two of the best players in the world improvising great solos and back-up, this is the tape to get. This is a great format and I hope more players use it.
cheers,
Drew

Lloyd Green and Tommy White!! Incredible video. Johnny Cox was hanging at our home for the last couple of days and in our "steel chatter" even the great Johnny Cox (one of my steel heroes)agreed that they are two of his favorites steel players. Time for another video from these greats! |

A great, great video -- everyone knows that LG is one of the all time greats, but watching TW next to him, you realize just what a great player Tommy is. How many players would have the guts to go head-to-head with the master? My favorite part is when LG thanks TW for not using the C6th neck once during the performance. |
