I know that Flash is fun for web designers to use, but please keep in mind that not everybody has a fast connection, and even then I personally just don't like looking at all the geegaws and stuff.
Maybe I didn't stay on the 'Flash Detector' page long enough but I never did get to the main site. Too bad because it sounds interesting.

Thanks for the input. I know flash takes some extra time to open and I'm getting some mixed responses. The guy that designed the website made good use of my business logo using flash and I'm hoping people can get past the opening page and get to the music samples without too much trouble. I've just completed an all acoustic Christmas album featuring lots of dobro, fiddle, and mandolin that I'd like everyone to be able to preview. If anyone's interested and has trouble opening the site, send me email and I'll reply with an mp3 clip of the Christmas demo.

Nice site,
I can understand the frustrations of others,
but I had the patience to install the latest
flash plugin then it worked famously,
nice design, i really liked how the player
looked, very pro and creative which is a big change from most musician's personal sites.
one problem with the player loading in that one
page is that if you go to another page the music stops, I was enjoying listening to the clips and then wanted to read your bio and when I clicked bio the tunes stopped, not a big deal but it would be cool if the tunes kept playing while you navigated the site,
hidden frame maybe?

| We have some older PCs that can't cope with it, but on our most up-to-date one, recently rebuilt with a new install of WinXP, everything just ran beautifully -- and, again, it's a very spiffy site design. It just a shame, though, if it is so cutting edge that not everyone can get easily to the music, which is after all the point, and it's well worth hearing. Congrats all around, Milo, but it might be a good idea to have some options that make it more readily accessible to older PCs. |

I'm on DSL and XP, it just gets up and plays here, fidelity is pretty good.
open the text window up on bio page, so you won't meed to scroll.
