Pictured here is the recent winner of Jerry Byrd's prestigious "Lifetime Achievement Award"......Bill Stafford, of Gulfport, Mississippi, with his latest design dubbed "the Saw Horse"........
As usual, Mr. Stafford has achieved an excellent blend of highs and lows with just the right amount of timbre/TIMBER, overall great, full bodied tone, portability, light weight, minimal cabinet drop, and a low cost basic model that serves equally well for amatuer and professional alike.
When Mr. Stafford played this unique instrument at a popular California show, it proved to be a show stopper.
I can't identify the pretty ladies in the photo but to the right rear shadowed area, is DAVID KARR, deceased, who was one of the finest rhythm guitar players I've ever met, plus he played great Chet Atkins style, a fine vocalist and pedal steel player too.

Ray, that's some Saw Horse! I'll bet Bill Stafford made it sound fabulous. Reminds me of the 2x4x8' "guitar" which (the late) Norm English played at the Winchester Convention one year!

I think I see the start of something big here....Could the "SawHorse" be the market replacement for Sierras? A little more budget priced since the legs aren't adjustable...
