I've just finished listening to a terrific CD by Ed Burleson- "My Perfect World". The mix is superbly done with all the instruments out front but not competing for their slots and wonderful steel playing by forumite Tommy Detamore and Lloyd Maines. This is a straight ahead country "album" that I'll be listening to for some time to come~ (special thanks to Mark Giles for letting me give it a listen)

The CD came out in 1999 so its not exactly new . It was also produced by the late and great Doug Sahm, his final project before his death in Nov. 99.

I heard it on satelite radio and called Tommy after I found out that it was him. What tone! Great playing.
