I heard a song on the radio that went, "I'm a country boy at heart." ("I may look like a city slicker, but I'm a country boy at heart.")
There were phenomenal instrumental leads for much of the song.
Who was this? It reminded me of Ricky Skaggs, but I don't know for sure.

You know, Doug Jones told me that it was Lloyd Green doing that famous ride. I know it was Bruce B on Heartbroke, Hwy 40 blues, Rendezvous, etc.
It that correct? Anybody?

Yeah Joey, and Albert was in a band called "Heads, Hands and Feet", I forget who the other members were, but an outstanding band....this was in the late 60's or early 70's...This album had "Country Boy....years before Ricky Skaggs recording....I also believe I
remember hearing that Ricky did the flattop work on the HHF recording and Ricky returned the favor and had Albert Lee on his recording....Someone feel free to correct me if this is not the case.

Donny,
The piano player on that record was Mike Rojas.
