Who played steel on Red Steagall's "Lone Star Beer and Bob Wills Music" album? I remember really liking the steel on the title cut when it came out, but I have recently been listening to:

Under the X in Texas
I Saw Your Face in the Moon (twin dobros...where can you find that nowadays?)
Whatever Made Me Think

I'm guessing Sonny Garrish. I know Weldon, Rugg, and Garrish would sometimes play on the same project. At least they did on the Texas artist I used to play with. Sounds like Bob Moore on the bass too.

Sonny Garrish is listed on the LP credits. There's no instruments associated with the musicians in the credits. Bob Moore is not listed. Billy Linneman is listed and I'm thinking he may have played bass.
