Jag håller med Dag - det var tammefaster på tiden!
Stå i ordentligt, så amerikanerna på Forum får klart för sej att det finns steelers utanför USA också.
Hälsningar!

Earnest,
it´s very simple måååånga means maaaaany - simple, ain´t it?
(If I could, I would put in a glad Smiley here, but I´ll learn that some other day.)

Well Egil,
That is indeed about time. Where have you been?
I have seen you play on TV, I guess it must be at least 10 years ago, and I was very impressed with your playing. So smooth and controlled. I agree: a terrific player. Wellcome to the bunch.

Bergen has lots and lots of: rain, beautiful women, melodious steel tones from Egil and Dag Wolf. I heard the two of you play several times in the mid 80s and I was impressed then. I can't imagine how much better you are now. Egil, have you been hiding out in your hytte doing some pedal steel woodshedding? Will we hear a CD? Welcome to The Forum,
Steve |

I second Dag Wolf´s opinion, - it´s about time, Egil-baby!
And if Dag can be called a Norwegian Paul Franklin, then Egil Skjelnes is the closest to Lloyd Green that we can come up with over here.
His tasteful and elegant steel playing has graced dozens of records over here for the past twenty years, and he has also contributed greatly to the Norwegian Steel Guitar Association. As a matter of fact, he helped start it in 1991.
Egil is beloved over here both as a player and as the true gentleman that he is, so it´s about time that he entered the computer age and joined the Forum.
I should also mention that Egil is a walking encyclopedia of what steel player played on whose record, - having probably Norway´s largest collection of steel related records, cassettes and cd´s. Try him! |

Welcome Egil, always great to have a new forum friend. Hey Earnest, I thought it was a funny looking word, too. I imagined it sounding like Curly. "Hey...this wallpaper looks like Moe. Nga-a-a-a! It is Moe!" |
