Non-peddlers: The music store where I teach guitar and steel (Downtown Sounds) now has this great reference book in stock. I posted a blurb in Buy & Sell about the contents of book and how to order a copy. To zoom there, click here.

sorry Brad... I hope I didn’t violate the double-posting rule!

That book has been out for a few years now. I find it to be one of those books that you seem to pick up and look at the pics or re-read it. It just has a certain magnetism about it. Geo

I have to agree with George Rout, (we seldom ever agree ). Lorene Ruymar who resides in Vancouver, B.C. with her steel guitar husband Art, did an absolutley superb job on this book....it took her many years to compile and a tremendous amount of frustration...publishers, pics, data, etc. It all came together as George mentioned many years ago. Even today, I can lay that book down, not pick it up for months and then find something "new" ... never a dull moment with that book! As with any publication, there is the odd small error but to Lorene's credit and shere determination, she was able to turn out an almost 100% flawless book. Truly, an indispensible steel guitarists encyclopedia. (edited for spelling)
