It is that time of year again which seems to bring out the best in some and the worst in others. For some it holds a beautiful, deep, religious significance;for others the pain of remembering lost loves or the passing of a loved one. In my experience,I have always found that Steel Guitars Players have more than one thing in common. Sure, we all play steel, but I have found that all steel players have something even more beautiful than a new Emmons...a beautiful heart! I just wanted to take a small amount of Forum Space to express my thanks to all of you for being the kind of folks that are willing to share the knowledge and experience that many of you have labored for years to earn and accumulate. BOBBY LEE's forum has become a medium, through which we can all benefit and share with one another! This being said,I just want to close by saying thanks to Santa...errr,I mean b0b for giving us such a nice Christmas gift; The Steel Guitar Forum!
Merry Christmas everyone!

A big thank you b0b!

We had nothing like this to help us way back in the old days.

I'm glad that you have this Forum now for all the younger generation to further their knowledge and experience the good fellowship in the Steel Guitar World.

A Merry Christmas to all and a most Happy and prosperous New Year.....al

Merry HO HO,everyone,
I just want to say that only 3 or so hours ago, The fellow who started this thread, Ol Wayne himself, was here at my house just taking his time playing my Emmons which never ceased to Blow me away...This guy has forgotten more that I could ever know...He is ONE FINE GENTELMAN & CHRISTIAN who cares for others in time of need. It was a delight to have him here as my guest this afternoon.

Well, my posted header,"Alligators or Reindeer",turned out to be somewhat prophetic. My wife and I decided to head north to visit the rest of our kids and grandkids, who live about 30 miles from Branson,MO. Now we are snowed in,up here, and I just saw a guy with a white beard out back in the snow. Hmmmm...maybe it was Al Petty!!! ~~W.C.~~

Hey Wayno,

Y'all got gators in Louisianer and up at the North Pole they gots the reindeer.

But here in The Ozarks we got the over a foot of snow now, the White Christmas and the Ozark snow snakes, just like Speedy said...

Our foreign exchange student from Thailand was running round here yesterday singin' "Let it Snow, Let it Snow." Of course it's about 90 degrees in THailand this time of year.

GOD bless ya'll and Merry Christmas!

Bob,I too would like to thank you for this forum. I have been a member for only a short while. I was at what I thought the end of the road for learning the PSG. This forum and everyone has given me more help than I ever expected. Merry Chritmas to all and may God bless. Bennie... (I won't post my brand of PSG 'cause no one has ever heard of it)!!
