I have been visiting the Steel Guitar Forum daily, for about four months. I got my first steel about six months ago, and have gained very valuable information from all of you here at the forum. I just wanted to post, to introduce myself and to say thanks for all the great tips.

Hey Stephen

Welcome aboard. I lived in Biloxi, Laurel and Ellisville way back when. This is the best place for a steel picker to be. Do spend some time in the Tablature section. These pickers will knock your "hat in the creek" with their licks. And it all makes so much musical sense.
Best regards......Fred

Hey Stephen! Glad you took the time and interest to become an ACTIVE MEMBER in this wonderful Forum. It's been the greatest learning tool I've encountered during my decades of learning to play steel. Got a question, don't be afraid to ask it. You'll get answers from fellows that refer to the olden days as "way back in the 1990's" but you also get some from Forumites that date back a lot further than that. Lot's of different experience and knowledge levels. I can't live without my daily dose of it. You'll enjoy it too!

Welcome Stephen,
The only problem I have is I spend too much time enjoying the Forum.

But this is a good place to learn all the little things.

And remember....the only dumb question is the one that don't get asked.

Bob.
