Gary, I would like to know what chords you are using on Nearness of You, I really love that intro, but am having a little trouble with intro. I have the rest of the song. I would like to know which pedals you are using and which frets you are starting on for the intro. I really like your playing.

Tony, I'm not Gary, but I agree with you about liking his work. I Play along with his CD every day. My favorites are"Look at Us", Blue, relaxin, What a Friend we have in Jesus, and Cold Cold Heart. If you don't get an answer, email me and I'll send you his phone No. He's a fine gentleman and will help any way he can. regards, Earl

Earl, thanks for your reply. I have already gotten his phone number from some one else. I also play along with some of the cuts on the CD. I've beentrying to learn Perido and Moonglow and The Nearness of You. I think I now have them down enough to play them on stage. I have always been more into the traditional country, but lately I've been trying to learn some of the Pop tunes that everyone else play. I've found out that I didn't know as much as I thought I did about the pop and jazz songs, even though I'm from New Orleans.
