Just Announced!
Two free instructional workshops at this year's Hawaiian Steel Guitar Association's Joliet, Illinois (near Chicago) convention.
LT Zinn, world renowned steel guitarist and entertainer, will conduct a three hour non-pedal Hawaiian steel guitar workshop on Wednesday October 1, 2003 from 7-10 PM. LT invites all attendees to bring their steel guitars to the workshop. Note... this workshop will be held the night before the convention begins . Get to Joliet early!
Gerald Ross, a legend in his own mind  , will conduct a rhythm guitar workshop for advanced-beginners to intermediate guitarists. The workshop will explore embellishment of chords for the rhythm guitar. Gerald will take the four simple chords of the song "Blue Hawaii" and demonstrate how to make the progression more interesting through the use of chord choices and substitutions. This workshop will be held Friday, October 3rd from 7 - 8 PM.
Both workshops are free of charge for all convention attendees.
This year’s Hawaiian Steel Guitar Association Joliet, Illinois convention
is October 2-4, 2003.

| ...not throwing stones or anything here, but I might mention that the print-out registration form for the convention on the HSGA website is for year 2002 and has different dates than this year. Be careful not to call the hotel and book the wrong days. |

Where are you looking for the registration forms? Here they are:

The reg forms are downloadable in two formats, PDF and MS Word. Both forms have the correct dates for the 2003 convention, I just looked at them.
