Sorry I missed these guys in St Louis but I'm glad I got to catch them here tonight. Who knows if/when they'll be back this way but, if you get the chance, hear them! WAY too much fun!

Chris, Theresa was telling my wife that the Swing Cats had to board a plane at 4 AM this morning and fly to LA. After a layover there, they were facing an 18 hr. flight back to Australia. I was fortunate to see them in St. Louis but my wife missed going this year so I took her along with Lloyd & Dot Green and the IWFSM (Internationally World Famous Smiley Roberts) to their farewell performance. It was magnificent and the sooner they come back for another tour, the better! They are just plain good!

It really was a great time. Michel Rose is a great player, and the rest of the band is wonderful. It's so nice to hear a band that has worked out so many parts, instead of the usual free-for-all that the rest of us do.

I wish them the best back home, as well as coming back to tour here. It sure was fun, and they sure have made some new "Katz" fans.

Sincerely,

David Spires

I sincerely agree. I feel fortunate that I was able to mix the Ferel Katz for the internet broadcast.

They are one of the finest groups I have ever been in contact with. And they played just the right music for our convention.

Now does anyone know how to get their CD?

Bill

You could try their website at http://www.tamworthragepage.com/feraltam.htm

I picked one up in St Louis and have enjoyed it thoroughly.

ALSO, much must be made of the incredible singing of Felicity! I also bought her album and every time I listen to it, I fall in love again. (By the way, I think she likes me too; she ignored me all evening. Some girls are like that, y'know.)

I stopped by to see them on my way to a gig and I'm glad I did. I could only stay a few minutes but I thoroughly enjoyed them. After their show they happened into the place where I was playing and after that gig, we all closed down another place. If they had to be at the airport at 4am, I bet their butts were draggin. Mine was!!

They have another web page at www.thepub.com.au/ferals/
Also Felicity has a web page at www.emimusic.com.au/felicity/index.asp
Felicity's page has links to record shops in Oz that will ship to the USA. I just ordered another FSK and a Felicity CD from one.of the links.
