Just wanted to say thanks to NTSGA for allowing me to be a small part of such a GREAT show! I had the time of my life!! Thanks to my long time friend ang SUPER PLAYER Johnny Cox and his lovely wife...also a SUPER PLAYER!!!!...for the *room and board*. I had the honor of setting in with the Time Jumpers Mon. nite. WOW is the only thing I can say...what a band!!!
The cherry on the cake was the super jam. What a show! All the players were SUPER!
Johnny Cox...an unsung HERO!! Such soul and emotion in his playing. Robbie Turner..GREAT tone..plays what NEEDS to be played at the right time and then says, listen to this...and plays out of the lines...WOW!
As for Hal and Buddy, they are the standard of what steel guitar is all about!
Feeling..emotion..style..tone..ETC ETC..
How about the band....all the steel player has to do is worry about playing the licks,
not the band.A GREAT GREAT band!!! Thanks guys!
Enough of this ramblin...Thanks again guys!
God Bless ya, Junior.

I think I speak for all the NTSGA members when I say that we've truly been blessed with your presence at one of our SuperJam's! Believe it or not, you've came up on several occasions at our meetings, about how we could get you up here. We've been waiting a long time for this, and we're truly greatful! Thank you so much. I just wish I could have gone! I REALLY WISH I COULD HAVE GONE! I REALLY WISH I COULD HAVE GONE! I REALLY WISH I COULD HAVE GONE! I REALLY WISH I COULD HAVE GONE! I REALLY WISH I COULD HAVE GONE! I REALLY WISH I COULD HAVE GONE! I REALLY WISH I COULD HAVE GONE! I REALLY WISH I COULD HAVE GONE! I REALLY WISH I COULD HAVE GONE! I REALLY WISH I COULD HAVE GONE! I REALLY WISH I COULD HAVE GONE! |

Junior, glad you made it home OK. It was good to have you stay with us while you were in town. Our house is your house, and you're welcome anytime. I wanted to share with everyone that I wasn't able to attend the SuperJam; had to make a trip to Missouri to be with my Mom in the hospital. But my wonderful husband called me during the time the show was going on, and held up the cell phone so I could hear Buddy and Hal and some of the others play. I thought that was pretty special. I heard it was great.
