Yes James, I find this book very interesting also.
This man has done some amazing things with a steel guitar; and he didn't need a lot of electronic gadgets and mechanical parts with which to get it done.

Jerry Byrd's Autobiography "It Was A Trip - On Wings of Music", is a must read book for any steel guitarist. I bought one in Hawaii and had it autographed by Jerry. The Book tells all about Jerry's musical career and a lot of inside commentary about the recording industry. Jerry's perseverance, drive and ability made him the Number One Steel Guitarist in the World. We are indebted to him for sharing his knowledge and life story with us. Thanks Jerry.

The Aloha International Steel Guitar Club also will have a limited number of the books available at the Indiana Convention on July 10,11,12.
