Coming to town for the weekend, Will go see Bobbe Seymour and Mike Sweeney at the Palace as well. Any thoughts on clubs where the licks are flowing or the steels are standing ?

Tony....

You're in for a real treat !!

Proberly two of the best pickers in "Nashburg".

If you hear some "Chet Atkins" type pickin' being played, you had better look at Bobbe Seymour. He's the only person in the world that can do that.

Tony,
I'll be looking for you next weekend. Your name is on the guest list. As far as Bobbe goes if I decide to sub out for a night he's my first call. But I might not take off while you are here.
But when I see you next week I'll let you know if I'll be off while you're here.
And I agree the Bobbe does the thumb style better than anybody but Bryan Adams in Mountain City Tn. aint no slouch.
Take it easy. Mike

Terry,
It just shows the old adage is true. "Believe nothing you hear and only half of what you see."
I moved to town years ago for the long haul and after all I've been through to get what I have I don't intend to leave. Although I can imagine that there are some folks in town who would like to see me gone. Probably whoever told you that is one of them.

Likely Mike. Glad to know it's not so. After 23 years I still run across folks who say they heard that about me Just gotta smile and say... - the number's still in the book - if you really want it

I hope to get out to see you sometime soon! You always "hammered" the steel, pleasantly! [in my opinion]

Tony,
It was great to meet you and your lovely wife Bonnie last night. I hope you had a good time and come to see me again.
Hope you enjoy the c.d.'s too.
Take care,
Mike
