I got a call from Kenny's wife a day or so ago telling me that he'd been put in the hospital with Pnuemonia! In case some of you don't know Kenny, he's a fine player who's been around along time (72 years) and is well respected and liked by all who know him. I call him my adopted father. Kenny has been suffering from Emphesyma (I hope I spelled that right) for a long time and it's pretty far along. For the last month or two before he was hospitalized he had to carry and oxygen bottle around with him every where he went. Last Sunday I went to a steel guitar pull in Kinston, NC where Kenny lives and he was playing while hooked up to the oxygen. Now that proves how much my old Bud likes to pick. Let's all pray for him as he's one great little dude and I love him like a brother. If you'd like to email him his address is: kdail86024@aol.com. In case he can't access his email, you can cc a copy to me at Bigkahuna155@cs.com and I'll print them out and get them to him. I'm sure he'd love to hear from everyone who can......Thanks a bunch!

Kenny, hope you have a quick recovery. Prayers are with you.
Hope to see you in Saluda in May.
You need to get well and out of the hospital so you can keep my ole pal John Floyd on the straight and narrow path.
Best to you.

Best wishes and a speedy recovery to you, Kenny.

They can beat that pnuemonia and at only 72, I'll bet you got plenty of picking left to do and I'm sure you'll be doing it.

Never the less, you may not be feeling too good right now but hang in there, you'll make it.

Regards,
HH

Kenny was one of my first "friends" here on the Forum, and I don't think you'd find a nicer guy anywhere. Kenny has to know he's got a lotta people pullin' for him, and I'm one of 'em

Hang in there Kenny!

I just talked to Kenny a couple of minutes ago. He got out of the hospital yesterday afternoon and is feeling better. He'll be on the internet later today to be his usual self and give us his opinions on everything like always. I'm relieved for sure as he's one of the best buds I ever had.....

Hey Guys, your prayers and support are much appreciated. Don't let anybody tell you that Prayer doesn't work. With friends like You guys going the Almighty for ya'...ya' gotta git better. Had a small bout with the flu. Of course with my emphysema problem...it becomes a major battle.

Thanks a million Guys...
