The current(May 2002) issue of Guitar Player features an article on Robert Randolph and the Word. Nice to the magazine doing a writeup on a steel player for the first time in a very long time.

I had the pleasure of sitting in with Robert last week when he was in Nashville. The place was packed with twenty somethings going absolutely crazy over Robert's performance. I'm sure he is well on his way to become the first solo star of the steel guitar.
