Having lucked out the first two years, I made my mind up that nothing was going to keep me away from the third Sacred Steel convention next weekend in Orlando. I'm not sure what the final lineup will be, but I understand that Aubrey Ghent, Chuck Campbell, Calvin Cooke, the Lee Boys, Kim Love, Footie Covington, Josh Taylor and Joe Randall are among the players who are already confirmed. Whew! It's going to be a real kick to finally hear these amazing players live, and to put faces to so many of the names that keep popping up on the Forum. For those who have a chance to make it to the convention but haven't got around to booking a trip, do yourself a favor, folks! See you there. http://www.sacredsteelconvention.com/

Ian, when you get to Orlando, give my Brother a call.(He works at Disney World) He is an incredible steel picker and guitar player. He just might be there at the Jam, but I am not for sure. Here is his home phone #....1-863-289-5053. He lives in Orlando also. His name is Austin Preston. He would love to hear from you when you get there. He has a 1983 Emmons S-12 P/P, and a D-12 Sho-Bud. That Sho-Bud has a monsterous Tone. I do belive it sounds better than his Emmons, but, that is my humble opinion. Hope you get to check him out.

JImmy, You are right, But I think the # I gave is the NEW one. Austin is ALWAYS changing either his phone# or his E-mail. Call both, I am sure you will cath him playing around with either a Tiger or an Elephant, or some sort of Friggin' snake or Lizard down there at Disney World.
Happy Easter, Everyone.
