Hello Johnny its nice to have you online again. We spoke last week about Sho-Bud, and I was wondering if you know the dates of manufacture of the Maverick. I know that they started making the thing very early on. Do you know what year the Maverick started, and what year did Sho-Bud change Maverick style to the brown covering. Thanks Duane Becker |

Johnny & Joan, I really enjoyed both your sets and also Johnny I know the other steelers appreciated your filling in as a back up on bass when needed. |

Hi Johnny, glad to see you're back. I really enjoyed yours and Joans pickin' in Dallas. I think you two should work up some stuff together on two steels playing parts etc. You could go on as a duo and tear the house down. Also your bass playing was super with all the other players. Hope you can do that again next year. Looking forward.....Don.

welcome back! It was a pleasure to hear/meet you with the Time Jumpers on my trip to Nashville a few weeks back. just wish I could've stayed all night.
Also such a treat to hear music at conversational volume levels, and to hear a picker actually turn down for a solo was such a surprise (your solo on My Shoes Keep Walkin' Back to You)I almost fell out of my chair |

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not bad
B T W Ya'll owe it to yourself to attend church at Whitehouse some Sunday morning ! Their praise group has Joan and Doug Jernigan on steel,Dumplin on bass and Ron Stroupe (the preacher) on drums and vocals which is O K. Then they have 3 or 4 good musicians in addition to these four slugs.
A Great oppertunity to get your ears melted and your socks blessed off!!
