I was checking out Dobros on ebay and came across one with this weird logo.

Anyone know the story on this? Oh, also is there any kind of archive where you can look up a serial number of a Dobro and find out the year and type?

The extra row of holes in coverplate suggest Mosrite as the maker. However the over-sized screens, while suggesting post-war (new dies), do not look like Mosrite to me. The label is unlike anything I've ever seen. I don't think the Dopyeras would have used the Dobro name while Mosrite owned the rights, so I'm wondering if this is early post-war, before Mosrite acquired the Dobro name.

Thanks Byran. I'll bookmark those sites. Here's a link to the item description. The seller says it's from the 1980's.
