When I was at the Hank Thompson School of Country Music, Claremore Oklahoma in 1975, I met Troy as a very young, but good steel player. I think he later was with the Roy Clark Show. Tim Christiansen was a student there, from Minnesota I think.. Anybody know where thes players are today? Thanks, Larry J. Walton, NY |

Tony Klonz plays for Brooks and Dunn doesn't he. I recently saw him on Austin City Limits with them. He was playing that black and white steel. |

I saw Troy listed on the credits of a couple gospel albums, the last couple of years. One was by the Perrys. [This message was edited by Reggie Duncan on 29 January 2002 at 09:27 PM.] |

Troy was with Clark (played one of the first Melobar V's, I've got a fun shot of him on our history page), he's been with Brooks & Dunn since they began and is still there, 2 kids - living in Nashville. One of my favorite people, showed him his first Elk out in the wild a few years back. I don't think he's on line but I'll let him know about this post. |

Thanks for the information on Troy. I figured he would be working in the business somewhere. Anybody know Tim Christiansen? I'm not sure about the spelling of his last name. Larry J, Walton, NY |
