Hey John--- Got a strange email from you(?) a couple days ago. My anti-virus program flagged it. You haven't responded to the email I sent you direct.

Check the email I sent you and look at the "sanitized" copy of the infected message. If that message makes no sense to you(that is, if you would not have sent anything like that) you may have a real problem!

Someone may have "spoofed" your email address and is sending garbage under your name!!! That DOES happen! --Everett Cox

Everett,
Thank you very much for the heads up. Yes, I got infected again yesterday. I'm glad you quarantined it. It's a self sending virus, so I had no idea. At this point I've been hacked more times than Mount Rushmore.
That, along with the 390+ spams per day I'm recieving have necessitated a new e-mail address, which I will have up and running next week. New hardware on the way too.
b0b, my apologies for letting this spill over onto the forum.
Everett, thank you !
-John

Heck John, NONE OF US are safe from this crap! Even if we are protected on our computers, ways have been found(and used) to intercept email in-transit and steal addresses that way. We currently have absolutely no control to avoid that.

Glad that you're, at least, aware of the situation -- that was my intent. Yes, a new email address may be the answer but it's a pain to have to notify all your friends. Good luck. --Everett
