Bobbe, not only do you play, build, service these instruments and do them all very well, you involve yourself with the day to day topics on the Forum. You take other's praises and problems to heart and contribute your heartfelt input to lift and encourage those that are speaking from the depths of their beings. For that, I personally thank you and must say that I thoroughly enjoy reading your posts. I know it involves a tremendous amount of time on your part. Please keep it up, thanks, Gary.

As a post script to my original post on this subject, I have seen Bobbe on the Forum in the wee hours of the morning re-enforcing my observation that he puts in a lot of time taking care of what he considers, his duties of businessman and a lover of the steel. He has sent me emails after midnight, his time and makes me wonder when does he get to sleep. I want what ever supplement he is taking to give that kind of stamina. G.

Yes! Three cheers for Bobbe. I got both my Sho-Bud and my GFI from Bobbe and he is a good man to know if you're a steel guitarist. Heck, he's a good man to know if ya aren't a steel guitarst! Thanks Bobbe for all your help.

I second all of these complimentary sentiments regarding Bobbe. He really is one in a million.

Has does his new shop look?

Great, I hope.

I hear he's putting in a guest suite in back for us "out of towners" for when we drop in on Nashville. Big screen TV, mirrored ceilings, Jacuzzi... the whole nine yards. How can you beat a guy like that?

Regards,
HH

When I bought that PP from Bobbe this summer I thought I he was charging me double. Since then he has given me 10 times the service. Thanks Bobbe, we could all learn a lesson from him about giving.

Bobby realized many years ago that the only way to be truly happy is to work for yourself, and not someone else! But, there are both good and bad aspects of running your own business. The bad aspect is that you usually wind up working 24 hours a day. The good aspect is (since you own the business) that you get to decide which 24 hours you want to work.
