I'm not sure this belongs here, but here goes.
I was doing a sound check sat before a gig outside and I was getting a major amount of distortion from my Nashville 400.
I checked my volume settings and they were the same as I have used for 15 years.
I use Ernie Ball volume pedals.
I grabbed my spare pedal and the distorion went away.
What may have caused this and how do I rectify the problem?
Jack

You're right, Jack. It belongs in Electronics. I'll move it.

The Ernia Ball pedals are pot pedals, right? No battery?
