Another victim of "Antiques Roadshow" syndrome.

Perhaps the initial bid price is wrong and he's mistakenly added an extra zero to the left of the decimal point.

I am inclined to send him an email saying,

"please let me know who buys this guitar at the price listed (or higher), cuz I gotta ton a thangs I sho nuff would lack to sell em"

For $8,900, he should include a digital camera. (And four or five pre-war Bakelite Ricks, a 1929 Style 4 tricone, a mint Frying Pan ...)

I see Gruhn is selling a 7-string model from '36, described as 'vg+, extremely rare' for $1.100-.
