I was listening to "Window up Above" which is one of my favorite songs by him. I've always wondered who played steel on it. Now being a forum member, I have access to all of you knowledable(spelling)?steelers. Anybody know who it is?

Leigh,
I just got through listenin' to the original,by "Possum". I'm gonna stick my neck out,& say that it was Jimmy Day. Either that,or someone doin' a damn good imitation of him.

this is one I want to know for sure about! the little harmonic riff on the last verse leads me to think it may have been Emmons, but Day is a good guess.

Somebody KNOW for sure?

please enlighten us...

Mike, being that I am currently in diapers, I'd rather not do the math.
