Tommy White Dobro question?

Tommy if you see this or if someone else knows for sure........I don't see small details that well on TV anymore but when I saw you playing Dobro on the Opry it seemed that you were using a regular steel bar as opposed to a Shubb/Pearse, Stevens, or other type bar usually used with the Dobro. If so do you recommend using the steel bar? I remember seeing Hal Rugg on the old Statler bros. TV show doing the same thing and it sounded great. I enjoy your Dobro playing very much and it seems like it doesn't slow you down a bit as the hot stuff keeps right on coming. Have a great day.....JH
