Rick 10 string pickup worth?

I am trying to get a feel for what an original Rickenbacker 10 string horseshoe (1.25")pickup is worth. Any thoughts out there? It is not for sale, but it may be if it is worthwhile to change it out.
I honestly think this thing would make a great 8 string pickup -- it is weak on the two outside strings.
