I'm in the process of embarking on the building of a RICK BAKELITE stand for my room full of guitars.........so I can either sit or stand to play it.
One will be for a single guitar while the second unit will accomodate two Ricks side by side...........double neck versatility, if you will.
Anyone already have such a set-up?
I'm building-in SOLID, STURDY, BALANCED, and untipable/fall over design. You can even have your name (like BIGSBY) emblazened on the front of it.

Mahalo Jeff for the pic of Pua and his frypans. I vividly recall seeing him playing this setup at the Moana Hotel veranda facing the famous banyan tree. He would always dedicate a song to Mary and myself when we showed up to hear him with his group. I recall one night some asshole came to the stage and yelled to him, "hey, can't you guys play a polka?" Pua just smiled at him and carried on with his great music. He was one of Hawai'i's great treasures. I loved his vocalizing especially on the old Hawai'i Calls shows. Pua was indeed the flower of Hawai'i.

Ray, having one's name "emblazened" sounds so glorious! That's reason enough for wanting one.

Hey Jeff! Many thanx for the fine photo. Now I know my basic idea will likely have merit. I just wasn't sure that two non-joined guitars could share the same "stand".
Appreciate your "positive" contribution.

Those two pans pictured with Pua now reside peacefully near the corner of Judd St. & Nuuanu Ave.(not in the cemetary!)on Oahu. They are marked on the headstocks as Pua #1, and Pua #2.
