I put the EHarp tuning on my back neck yesterday and wrote an arrangement for Mae and Art Lang who play the HSGA every year.
Mae is an accomplished EHarp player.
I was prompted to try the tuning after learning of Claude Brownell's passing and the fact that he sent me a tape of his playing just before he was taken from us.
I have the sound file and would be pleased to provide it to anyone who can post it and make a link for people who are interested in the Eddie Alkire tuning.
I did a Tef file of it also, and Joey Ace if you're listening in here and can put this on your site with your other files let me know.
I love working with this tuning and it is
sure packed with chords. Last year Art Lang
sent me his chord charts which are a great help to me in saving so much time.

I will ClicTab this song and sent it to
Ron Turner with the sound file for the
EHarp fans.
You can play this tuning alone. Really
amazing!

For those interested in EHarp I have a short arrangement on the ClicTab site now( Thank You Ron )which is downloadable,,, both the tab and the MP3. It is a solo arrangement to give an idea of the chord voicings and the general sound of the tuning. It was/is used by some great players: Claude Brownell, Jack Moore, Mae Lang, Ray Gaitsch and of course the inventor and Steel Guitar Hall of Fame member Eddie Alkire.
The name is Maetune and it is #39. The site
address hereunder.
My thanks to Maurie Junod for Music Manuscript Method samples, cassette tape samples of all the foregoing mentioned players. Also Art Lang (Mae's Husband and fantastic rhythm guitarist) for the extensive chord charts relative to this amazing tuning.
