Anyone catch the Stones on HBO? It was basically a vintage guitar show, one impossibly valuable guitar trotted out after another. At one point Ron Wood (no relation) actually sat down with a lap steel that looked to me like a Deluxe6 - flat picking of course.

Yeah, I saw that. Pretty cool. He sounded good. I liked his bottleneck playing too. He's got a distinctive sound.

He also did some decent(not great) pedal steel on some of Rod Stewarts earlier stuff as well as with the Stones. I like his lap and bottle neck stuff better though.
