I recently saw and heard the new Rick style replacement pick up installed into friend Derrick Mau's '53 B7. Total perfection. The body's modified to take the strings thru, it now sounds as good as any bakelite I've heard. If this is a standard example of what's coming from the Creller/Aiello/Loller camp, look out!

Hi Ron and Ray
The pickup on Derricks bakelite was built by me, except the coil winding, which was was by Jason Lollar (the Master pickup winder). Derrick wanted the narrow 1 1/4 inch magnets so that he could mute the strings easier behind the magnets. Had to make a special set of horseshoes, because I had never had a call for the narrow shoes. I also make the support brackets and the base plates.Bobby Ingano's frypans, which I restored, also have my pickups.
Aloha Bill Creller
