by Herb Remington & Rick Alexander.

The CD will be ready to go very soon.
We weren't going to release another single until the CD is out, but I thought you guys might like to hear a little sneak prevue.
This is a song Herb and I wrote especially for this CD, it's called REMEMBER TONIGHT.
Herbie on Steel Guitar and Yours Truly on Guitars and Bass.
It's a laid back little ditty for the end of an evening . .
The page with graphics and the file embedded is here
and the MP3 itself is here.

Wow, that's the type of music that sucks my heart right up to my ears.

Laying back in my lazyboy chair, eyes closed and slowly slipping away from the real world.

Beautiful Rick.

Rick,

Sounds really nice to me also. That one is another future "Swingin' West" air play item. Nice going! That CD by you and Herbie should be quite a dandy and hopefully sell well.

That was great Rick. Herb's playing is just so smooth. You did a great job on the mix too.

I can't wait to hear the CD.

Herb's playing is beautiful and I love his tone.

Rick, could you post some details about Herb's gear and how you recorded him?

Thanks for all the nice comments guys, I'm glad you like it.

When Herb flew here for the sessions all he brought was his bar and picks. He played my Remington Steelmaster T-8 and my Rickenbacker BD6 through a Music Man HD130 212 Amp. I close mic'd the amp with an SM57 and mic'd the room with an AKG 414.

The CD will be ready within the week.
Herb said we should call it "SWEET TALKING STEEL GUITARS of Herb Remington and Rick Alexander", so that's what it's going to be called.

Rick, when I click on "Buy Now" it gives me a paypal form to pay "Richard Wadds" with the "payment for" and amount both blank.

I can fill in the blanks but wanted to make sure it at least has the right account.

It was such a good idea to get Herb out to your studio. Did you have any fun while he was there?

I bet he had a great time playing all of your toys.

I can't wait to hear this CD.

I'm sure Herb's tone live is awesome... but I just wanted to say Rick, I LOVE the way you've captured it in this recording.
