Does anyone know who the lady steeler is at the beginning of this Bobby Helms clip?
Joe Maphis is also visible.

that is our Marian Hall. she played on Town Hall Party and Tex Ritters Rockin Ranch Party.
the THP gigs were early in the 50's; Bear Family released those programs. Marian wrote that she wasn't on the shows released.
however, she is on Ranch Party playing her Bigsby pedal steel. that, btw, is a nice DVD. it has early Cash and a very young George Jones. Marian Hall has two or three nice solos.
she passed away early this year, if memory serves.
