I picked this up about a year ago. Was supposed to work perfect, but it has a few issues. The seller and I came to terms and I'm OK with it. Some of the wiring has been spliced and the middle neck blend pot is bad. I think all the pick ups are OK. Since this has no collector value, and I'm a po boy player, I'm thinking on restoring this guitar. The finish is pretty bad, but the necks' wood rings like a marimba when tapped. I played it a little before tearing it down, and it has tone like I've never heard from a Stringmaster, both amped and acoustically!!
Sorry for rambling, but I need a wiring diagram and info on a good source for a new 250K audio taper pot to replace the badn'. If the diagram shows the staples into the foil, etc., that would rule!
Thanks,
Patrick

Patrick, I've got a '57 D8 Stringmaster and the pot is a split shaft pot. Fender sells CTS brand pots, so you should be able to get one from a Fender dealer or service center. Good luck with your restoration!
