Does anyone know where I could obtain a Fender Deluxe 6 brochure? Even a Xerox copy would work. |

I was hoping to find out how to adjust the mechanism for the two pickups. I assume it's for ballancing tone. I have no idea which way to turn it to do whatever it is capable of doing. Also, any other adjustment information that may be included for the Deluxe 6. Mine is a brownish color with a serial number of 1034. |

Hi Gary, that's a "blender control" that balances the output of the two pickups. The bridge pickup is on all the time so turning the blender control counter clockwise adds more of the neck pickup. The other two controls are volume and tone. |

That's the information I was looking for. That makes it easy if the rear pickup is always on. This sure is a sweet guitar. It makes me want to go AWOL from the outside world and stay in my music room forever, at least at this point.
Thank you. |

I adjusted the blender about in the middle for now. I assume a lot depends on what amp a person is using and what type of sound you like. For now middle of the road sounds fine. |

Gary, that's about where I like mine adjusted too, then I play with the tone a little and really get it dialed in except when I'm playin "sleepwalk" then I like a more trebley tone. Have fun with it. |

Andy,
Thank you for your input regarding the blender control. The tone control also works well on my Deluxe. It really changes the highs and lows around. If I am playing though my old tubes amps I have to re-adjust when playing though my Polytone amp. It is great to be able to have such control of the tone. |

I'll copy it, print it and save it! You never know when it will need some work.
Thanks. |
