I don't have the tab but most players do Sand in A6th/B9th = C# , Eb ,F# ,A , C# ,E ; on 6 strings.I have Sand by 6 different artists , Jerry Byrds video on a T V show, Jules Ah See (2 versions) , David Kelii (live on Hawaii Calls), Benj. Rogers and Alvino Rey. Great song !!

IMHO, tunes like SAND & HOW'D YA DO sound best in the B-11th Tuning.
B-11th:E,C#,A,F#,Eb,B,A,B(high to low)

This tab is for Jules version; he wants the one by Benny Rogers which is done in a different tuning and style from the B11th tuning.

To my knowledge, a tab for this song by the Rogers family has never been done.

Roger , Your B 11th tuning is obviously the better for Sand but it appears Alex has a 6 string steel and I still think he can use the A/B tuning I show for that song! I think Jules used that 6 string tuning on his original recording back in the 40s and I think David K used that 6 string tuning on my "Hawaii Calls" live show recording from the early 50s. When I started playing back in 1945 the only Hawaiian tuning I ever saw or heard was the A lo bass !! Things have changed over the years !!

Would some one mind doing the tab of Sand by Benny Rogers?

It doesn't hurt to ask.
