Is it true that the new version of Windows is going to be more applicable to game-based users and those who use recording software? Is this OS geared to be more like Mac OS's in this respect? I heard this from a friend and was wondering if it was so

The Windows Vista user interface is very much like Mac OS X. I haven't seen anything to indicate that it will be better than Windows XP for recording or games, though.
