Just a side note

I use Yahoo for my Email. They have a seperate folder used for what they call spam. The spam emails are posted there and you can read them if you like without cluttering up your normal email.

I have long ago set the spam stuff to be deleted right away by Yahoo with out me reading it. I turned that feature off because I wanted to be sure I got a special email, even if it was called spam by yahoo. (Turns out it came in my normal email.)

I went to the spam section and in 12 hours had 27 spam emails, most from places I have never had any dealings with, like The LA.cheese factory. I deleted the 27 and switched it back to Immediate delete by Yahoo.

Obviously someone has been selling my email addy. Thank you Yahoo for sifting out the junk so I don't have to deal with it.

Hotmail has a "junk mail" folder and I have the filter set to send everything except what I have authorized to the junk mail folder. I don't do an automatic delete as occasionally I get legitimate messages since I use my Hotmail address is my "public" e-mail address. With Hotmail, I can right click and delete the entire contents of the junk mail folder so it's not really a hassle.
