Can someone tell me if it is safe to delete the following application . I think it has to do with Norton Anti virus that I have not used in two or three years . I use McAfee currently that came with my Windows XP OS .
The application is NAV10ESD.exe and is quite large ( ie: 25,474 KB ) If it is not being used I would like to take it out of the system. I just don't want to delete something that will cause trouble in another area .
I appreciate any advise .

It's an install file for Norton and if you don't have Norton it can be deleted. http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/nav.nsf/pfdocs/2003072611124806

BTW, if you have a file you don't know what it is, just do a google search using the file name, e.g. NAV10ESD.exe and most of the time you will get a "hit" and find out what the file is or is used for.
