Hey Ray..from what I remember, there should be a certificate of authenticity, signed by Shot and Jerry, that came with each instrument, and included the serial number.
Did your certificate not make it with the guitar? Scratched out S.N., missing certificate? mmmm....Bottom line though, if you like the instrument and it sounds good...unless, of course, someone is missing a guitar that rightfully belonged to them?

Hi Ray, Dana:

I have # A-084 (short neck). It came complete with certificate of ownership signed by Jerry & Shot in ball point. I have it laminated & will probably frame it. (the certificate- I PLAY the fry-pan)
