Folks, I'm new to this group, but I love it! My issue: I have a 1950 Fender D8 non-pedal steel (just like the cool picture Stephen posted last week)... but the tuning machines are pretty rough. Bobbe Seymour suggested packing the gears in grease, and I'll do that when I'm ready to change strings next... but I'd rather replace them outright with a good set. Can anyone direct me to a source for either used or replacements parts? Thanks! Jon Gersh, Arlington MA (a big Cyndi fan).
